Wednesday Night Mixed

Welcome to the 2024-25 Wednesday Mixed League at the Rideau Curling Club!

Teams are made up of 2 females and 2 males and the throwing order alternates between gender. Exceptions to this rule are allowed if a team can only field three players and each remaining player is at their normal position. (Ex. Team with a male skip missing their male 2nd can play as three with an order of female, female, male). Further alterations to this order are allowed only if it is agreed upon by both skips before the start of the game. 

Games will  abide by Curling Canada's Rules for Curling (https://www.curling.ca/about-curling/getting-started-in-curling/rules-of-curling-for-general-play/).

We are pleased to have 30 teams across three divisions this year! After each round, the top three teams in a division will move up and the bottom three teams will move down. 

Ties in points will be broken as follows:

1) Most wins

2) Head to head result

3) Drawing of lots
